Channeling futurisitc, intergalactic sports luxe with a dark twist in this get up. Featuring the latest from Saxony, this sweater and track pants ain’t your average tracksuit. Most would expect to style with some wedge sneakers or opt for a real dark or sporty vibe, but when I received this fantastically holographic piece of artwork from the amazing Kzeniya, I had to use it. Plus it worked so well with the Alexander McQueen silver mirror pumps – which I think really cemented the look.
Whoever said you shouldn’t wear heels with track suits obviously hasn’t thought about a less obtrusive style of sweats, like this sweater with cocoon-like sleeves and gill-like detailing, or these well-shaped track pants with a biker-style panels. However, I wouldn’t suggest pairing any old pair of heels with just any track suit. That shit needs to be well thought about.
Another thing just as intriguing is Mykki Blanco. A league of his/her own, he/she gets a big thumbs up from me for not only producing a disturbingly captivating track and clip, but for filling a void in this hugely commercialized music industry. See the clip below.
Go gurl, and may you stand out and intrigue many, just like my holographic clutch.
