My two bad ass style icons who are pretty similar in style are Jessie J and Rita Ora.
I mean just look at them. Studs and lace and heals and bottle caps and faux fur and chains. From there daring cat suits to the ‘going to the city and chilled’ looks. FREAKING amazing. Trend setters.
Their* – sorry got too excited. But hey ‘Jessie J’, ‘Rita Ora’ and a giveaway ‘studded/spiked anything’.. who wouldn’t be pumped. Legit. Those two cool cats could rock anything that’s everything. But what really makes them true icons is that even though their styles are such statements, it’s simple clothes just accessorized up and something anyone can pull off. And just that ability of inspiration itself is just dripping with the words ‘bad ass’.

My style icon would be Rihanna! Her evolution of style over the years is magical, from island girl to badass rocker to bubble gum pop and its continues to update. She maintains a chic high fashion look but truly completes her infamous looks with pieces from more common/inexpensive stores. She reminds her audience despite status they still can perfectly execute their favorite looks.

I tend to follow fashion blogs more than I do the celebrity scene, but when it comes down to badassery, no one gives fewer f*cks with more flair than Willow Smith. Honestly, the girl’s a tiny style machine!
I certainly wouldn’t wear everything that’s come out of her closet, but her wardrobe’s got incredible spunk and her approach to fashion is 100% fearless. That matters more than anything.

My bad ass style icon is probably M.I.A. – and I must say I felt very much like M.I.A. when I put Generics “Blingalicious” cap on in store! I just so happened to be wearing a very M.I.A.-esque shirt with chains and horses printed all over it and it went so well with the whole look.
