Light and dark. Constantly torn between the two and forever alternating from one to the other. Referring to both clothing and hair colour choices. I’ve always loved a mostly black and leather outfit, and only the past year I’ve been experimenting more with colours. But I still go back to black. And with the hair – this week, I go lighter and burn the hell out of it.

A label that embraces monotones is Saxony, with recent collections taking on a more minimal, directional and dark turn since opening their stand alone stores. With signature drapes, washed leathers and combinations of fluid and structured silhouettes, Saxony is a brand to be reckoned with – considering what you can get with a surprisingly competitive price range.

Walking into the store you wouldn’t typically identify the designs as Saxony, with its traditionally classic styles evolved to cater to a more niche market who love nothing but a well price-pointed, black or white piece of leather or drop-crotch pants. With a mix of European and Asian influences, the brand has definitely taken a much more futuristic approach to styling. And we love it.

Get into one of their stores or get it online.
